Ismael Zgaib was born in a small town, almost at the edge of the world in Patagonia, Argentina. A place where the desert meets the forest and the high mountains, where the ground cracks from the heat right next to a powerful river. This aspect impacted him forever and is something that shows in his writing: stories that explore the edges, the limits. Stories crossed by the value and understanding of solitude and vast places that may seem unalterable but hide the deepest secrets if you know where to look. He got a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & TV at Córdoba National University and a Writing for Film, TV & Games degree at Vancouver Film School where he went after winning the FIC Monterrey Scholarship.
